1. What did or does starting look like for you?

Starting for me looks like following your gut and taking a step in that direction. I don't think you have to know where you will end up, but I think its important to follow your gut feeling and start with the first step.

2. How did you know you needed to start?

I guess if you never start you never know where you will end up. Most of the time I start because I want to experience something new.

3. Looking back, what struggle are you most grateful for?

I am probably the most grateful for the struggle of starting a new career. There was a time when I thought I had it all figured out, and when that fell apart I had to reevaluate where I was headed. I wouldn't have met and worked with all the great people I have worked with if it all hadn't fallen apart.

4. What’s one resource you would share with someone who is wanting to start?

I think finding someone who has done what you would like to do is the best resource you could find. Having someone who has done it to guide you through some of the pitfalls you are in for is a huge help.
